About Pilates and the Ron Fletcher Work

Pilates is a philosophy of movement that incorporates breath, precision, focus, intention and control to develop core strength and flowing movement.

Through a series of movements the muscles of the abdomen and spine are developed to encourage proper posture and body alignment, flexibility and balance.

Ron Fletcher is a master teacher of the Pilates method and worked directly with Joseph and Clara Pilates. He brought his knowledge and experience of movement and dance to the method and this evolved into the Ron Fletcher work.
